Kirsty came to me and wanted to set up her own Travel website. She didn’t really know exactly what she wanted but knew it had to be simple and very minimal. We set out to build something that would look amazing when viewed online. The main use of the website was to showcase her photos and stories and we hoped the site we built does all this and more.
A Couple of Idiots abroad also wanted to monetize the site so we help get AdWords set up and running within the site.
Another option that was added after we went live with the site was the option to sell products online. Woocommerce was the perfect plugin for this. WordPress and woocommerce work brilliantly to deliver a simple and easy content management system and we built an easy checkout system to make it simple for the customer.
The main objective of this build was to have it easily managed from any location around the world and to showcase a lot of images. Kirsty also requested the ability to share the content as easily as possible and also leave feedback comments to make sure her site wasn’t filled with spam ones.
One of the great things about this site is the added store, Kirsty was able to not only list her own branded products but also use the site as an affiliate site by proving links to Amazon.
